Montblanc Great Characters Walt Disney LE 1901

Commemorating the birth year of one of the most prolific entertainment producers of all time, the Montblanc Great Characters Walt Disney Limited Edition 1901 fountain pen has a silhouette inspired by the iconic monorail system in Disneyland and a design that marks different milestones of The Walt Disney Company. The cap features a multiplane camera first developed by Lotte Reiniger and her husband Carl Koch, and later advanced by William Garity for the Disney Studios. The barrel features scanimation, which the company used in parts of their 1980s The Walt Disney Home Video logo and in some of their licensed books. The platinum barrel-end is a hat-tip to Snow White, which includes the film’s original aspect ratio and runtime (1.33:1, 83 MIN), as well as the date and location of its premiere (21/12/1937, LA).
