The Montblanc M RED ballpoint pen was designed by Marc Newson, an Australian industrial designer considered one of the most influential in the world. His background in creating fluid “biomorphic” shapes is apparent in this collaboration: a blend of clean lines and interesting curves in red precious resin that are far from the usual Montblanc visuals.
More than to showcase modern design, the M RED was made to support (RED) and its fight against AIDS, as part of the proceeds from its sales went to programs that helped prevent mother-to-child HIV transmissions.
