Montblanc Writers Edition Jonathan Swift

Jonathan Swift’s “Gulliver’s Travels” may initially seem like a fantastic story about a surgeon shipwrecked on four different islands with unique civilizations, but it is actually a satirical take on human arrogance, hypocrisy, and corruption. Swift was known for his sharp and critical essays. He stood at the forefront of public advocacy literature, using the written word to call out moral decay and advocate change.
