The Namiki Capless Raden Stripe is a lesson in elegant restraint. The barrel where the two rhodium-plated rings meet has gorgeous raden (mother-of-pearl) bands sourced from abalone. They don’t cover the entire pen, which makes them all the more visually appealing, especially if one looks closer at the alignment of each. The whole pen is then sealed with ten layers of lacquer, giving the raden’s iridescence depth.
